Wanda Lee Cross Death, Obituary – Wanda Lee Cross, who resided in Cave City, Kentucky and was 71 years old at the time of her passing on November 30, 2022, passed away. The 30th of November was the day that she passed away. She was born in New Castle, Indiana, on October 24, 1951, to the late Ira Leslie Winchester and Ines “Love” Anderson Winchester. Her father passed away before she was born.
Her father passed away before her mother did. Her mother was already an adult when her father passed away before she was born. During the eleven years that she was employed at Sorsen, she was an excellent caregiver and provided housekeeping services. During that time, she worked there, she also offered these services. The times of the week when she was able to spend time with her loved ones were among her most treasured moments. In addition to being a wonderful great-grandmother, she was a charming wife, mother, daughter, nanny, sister, and aunt.
She also had the distinction of being a great-grandmother. In addition to that, she was the mother of a girl and had a sister in addition to an aunt in her family. She had a heart of gold, and when she loved, she loved with every fiber of her being. She was capable of giving her all to those she cared about. She had a great capacity for love, which was a gift from the gods. It was impossible to avoid falling in love with her once one became familiar with her.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leroy Cross; two daughters, Melissa “Lisa” Williams and Teresa Jennings (Jonathan Childress); thirteen great-grandchildren, including Hannah, Aubrey, and Braxton Childress; and nine grandchildren, including Whitney Elkins (Eric), Ronnie Cross, Jr. “Bubba”, Emily Bryant (Kyle), Harley Rust (Zack), Weston Carter (Leah); Hunter Cross; Carson Jennings; Jackson Williams.
She was preceded in death by her own parents, as well as by her devoted son, Ronnie Lee “Bob” Cross, Sr., as well as by her father and mother-in-law, William (Red) Cross and Elizabeth Louise Cross; her maternal grandparents, Claude and Razzie Anderson; and her paternal grandparents, Ben and Inez Winchester. In addition, she was preceded in death by her own parents.
The United States of America is the place of her birth. She is survived by her devoted son, Ronnie Lee “Bob” Cross, Jr.; her father and mother-in-law, William (Red); her five brothers, David Winchester, Mikel Winchester, Jessie Winchester, Bennie Winchester, and Junior Winchester; and her three sisters, Minnnie Sue Smith, Helen Estes, and Nina “Sissy” Vibbert.
