Walter Kellison Death, Obituary – The person who was killed as a result of the collision that took place in Brookville on Monday evening has been recognized by state police as having been a victim of the incident. According to Sgt. Bradley Hess of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, emergency officials were dispatched to the 700 block of Arlington Road in the vicinity of 5:00 p.m. after receiving reports of a car colliding with a pole in the area. The incident was reported to have occurred around that time. It was reported that the incident took place not too much longer before that time.
According to Hess, when emergency crews got at the scene, they reported that a single car had smashed into a pole, and the lone occupant was stuck inside the vehicle. This was confirmed by the emergency crews when they arrived. When the emergency crews arrived, they reported this information to the command center. It has been determined that the person who passed away was named Walter Kellison and that he lived in Brookville. Kellison was 85 years old. Kellison was rescued from the wreckage of his truck by firefighter from the town of Brookville, but after the event, he was in a tremendous amount of agony.
According to the state troopers, Kellison was transferred to Miami Valley Hospital, however it was reported that he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. Despite this, it was reported that he was taken to the hospital. The preliminary investigation arrived at the conclusion that the man was driving his vehicle eastbound on Upper Lewisburg Salem Road when, for reasons that have not yet been determined, he veered off the right side of the road and collided with a fence, which was then followed by a collision with a traffic light pole. This was the conclusion that was reached after the investigation came to the conclusion that the man was driving his vehicle eastbound on Upper Lewisburg Salem Road.
The results of the early inquiry indicate that the individual was operating his own vehicle at the time of the collision, which took place earlier.
