Vic Matteucci Obituary, Death – Vic Matteucci, who was 89 years old when he passed away on January 30, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital, had a brief run-in with a disease from which he had been suffering for some time. His illness had been lingering for some time. He had been receiving treatment during that time. Because he had spent the preceding 35 years of his life in Highland Heights, he had a strong familiarity with the neighborhood before moving there.
He had just recently relocated there. Before settling down in Cleveland and South Euclid as his permanent addresses, Mr. Matteucci formerly named the town of Wellsville his home. On the other side, he spent his childhood in Wellsville, which was also his hometown. He spent his entire life in the workforce, the last few years of which he spent as a machine operator, before settling into retirement. Victor is survived by the following members of his family: his loving wife of 67 years, Rita (nee DiVincenzo); sons, Victor (Mary Kay) of Mentor and Ronald of Chester Township; daughter.
Donna (Charles) Tercek of Russell; grandchildren, Victor, Anthony, Christopher, Matthew, Gina, Tricia Doles, Desiree and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Addison and Dominic; brothers, Frank and Tony; and brother-in-law, Will. Victor passed Before he passed away, his younger brother Joseph, both of his parents, Lawrence and Marie, and two of his sisters, Minnie Yafanaro and Lisa Madda, left. His older brother Lawrence remained behind to care for their other children.
His parents, Lawrence and Marie, had already passed away before he did, and he followed in their footsteps. On Monday, February 3, 2014, the funeral service, which is also known as a Mass of Christian Burial, is scheduled to be held at the St. Paschal Baylon Church in Highland Heights. The beginning of the event is going to take place at ten o’clock in the morning. The burial will take place in Chardon Township’s All Souls Cemetery, which is also the name of the municipality that the cemetery is in. Chardon Township is also the name of the township.
