Toby Walker Obituary, Learn more about Toby Walker Death

Toby Walker Death, Obituary –  We are deeply saddened to inform you that former member Toby Walker has passed away; we ask that you remember Toby and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Toby J. Walker, age 44, from Endwell, New York, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2022 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York. On February 23, 1978, Toby was born in the city of Cortland, New York. He has been working as a baseball umpire for the Binghamton Umpire Diamond Group after graduating from Dryden Central School in 1996. He was a member of the Binghamton Umpire Diamond Group.

In addition to that, he was employed in food service at the Maine Endwell School, where students fondly referred to him as the “Snack Man.” Toby was a huge sports lover who had a particular passion for baseball and its associated activities. He was an umpire for both the National College Club Baseball Association (NCBA) and the Cooperstown Dream Park, in addition to being a member of the United College Umpire organization. Both the Harford Fire Department and the Lansing Fire Department had him as a past member at one point. Toby was someone who could entertain everyone and he took great joy in seeing other people grin and laugh.

His loved ones and the many others he was close to will miss him terribly. His wife, Megan Carman Walker, and his kids, Tannor and Braden Walker, who are both at home, are the only people he leaves behind. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Audrey (Lynn) Rider, who resides in Harford; his brothers, Joseph Walker of Ashville and Brian Rider of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, both of whom are married to Sharon; his mothers-in-law, Kathy Carman of Ithaca and Carla Carman of Zephyrhills, Florida; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Both of his parents, his father Raymond “Scooter” Walker and his father-in-law Bill Carman, passed away before he did. The date and time of a memorial service honoring Toby’s life will be announced at a later time.

In honor of Toby, his family has requested that you attend, either in person or in spirit, when Maine Endwell High School defends their New York State football title against Pleasantville High School at the Carrier Dome on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
