Seth Odom Obituary, Body found in toolbox in Pearl River County ID - Death

Seth Colter Odom Obituary, Death – It has been determined that the skeletal remains of a man were those discovered in the vehicle toolbox in the unincorporated area of Pearl River County. According to Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage, the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Poplarville resident Seth Colter Odom. The dead body was discovered on Saturday morning at ten o’clock on the embankment of a creek on Burge and Reyer Road, which is located in the northern portion of the county.

People walking by noticed the toolbox while they were crossing a bridge over the creek, and they decided to look into it. After making the discovery, they immediately contacted the appropriate authorities. According to Turnage, “in order to ensure the integrity of the evidence, we transported the box along with the body to the state crime laboratory.” We were able to identify him through his tattoos by using social media, and the documents from the jail in Pearl River County corroborated our suspicions.

Turnage also stated that the fingerprints that were obtained on Tuesday were back, which he said corroborated the ID. The results of the autopsy, which were published on Tuesday, indicated that a gunshot wound was the cause of death. According to Turnage, Odom was a known subject to the law enforcement agencies in the area, and he had not been listed as missing. He had been deceased for a week. Due to the fact that the investigation is still underway, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office declined to comment on the matter.
