Phil Webster Death, Obituary – Phil Webster was an accomplished angler who was also a friendly and welcome friend to everyone. He was a very generous individual who stood behind the efforts of the whole gamefishing community. After graduating from Canandaigua Academy in June of 1952 and getting his diploma, he continued his education by attending Miami University for the following academic year before being inducted into the United States Army. The passing of Phil Webster is a sad fact that we have to share with you, and we do so with a heavy heart.

After fulfilling his obligation to serve in the military, he went back to Miami University to finish the prerequisites for his degree, which he received in June of 1960. He was awarded the degree. It is with a heavy heart that we must now realize that Phil has passed away since he lived his life to the very fullest and pushed himself to the very maximum during his whole existence. Phil is survived by Sandra Lake Webster, the woman he has been married to for the past 67 years and who was his childhood sweetheart, as well as by his three daughters, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
