Paul Dunlavey Death, Obituary – On November 28, 2022, Paul George Dunlavey, who had reached the age of 80 years old at the time of his passing, died away and moved on to live for all of eternity. The 11th of December is Paul’s birthday, and he was born in Batavia, New York, on that day. Paul’s birthday is on the 11th of December. Grandfather to Patty (Rich) Dyer, Susan (David) Kalman, Paul (Becky) Dunlavey, and Michael (Nikki) Dunlavey, all of whom are Paul’s children or grandchildren.
He has been a devoted husband to Diann, whose maiden name was Gray, for the past 58 years. Diann’s maiden name was Gray. Will, Sam, Ryan, and Nathan Dunlavey; Jordan Porche, Alixandrea, Joseph, and Rosemary Dunlavey; as well as great-grandchildren Meghan and Connor Bowling, Asher and Baby due March 2023 Forsyth, and Eliana Dunlavey. Matthew (Amanda) and Madeline Dyer, Sarah (Jeremy) Bowling, Grace (Chane) Forsyth, Emily, David, and Faith Kalman; Will, Sam, Ryan, Will, Sam, Ryan Paul showered his grandchildren and great-grandchildren with love and affection at every opportunity.
Paul Dunlavey was the brother of Mary Dunlavey, who married Jim Dunlavey, and of Ellen (Ed) Podhajsky, who also married Jim Dunlavey. Both of these women were married to Jim Dunlavey. Before he did, his grandmother Helene Dunlavey, his grandfather Emmet Dunlavey, and his granddaughter Phebe Dunlavey all went away. He was the only member of his family to have lived to adulthood. Paul lived the bulk of his life in Russell Township, which he regarded as his community and where he spent the majority of his time.
Paul’s favorite things to do when he wasn’t working on growing his company, PVP Industries, Inc., were to spend time with his family, go on adventures, and read voraciously. When he wasn’t doing those things, he worked on expanding the company. ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, which can be found in CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 at 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT. 306), will be hosting a visitation on Monday, December 5, to give the bereaved’s family and friends an opportunity to pay their respects.
The visiting will start at four in the afternoon and continue all the way up to eight in the evening. On Tuesday, December 6, at 10:30 in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church in Chagrin Falls, which is located at 496 E. Washington Street. The memorial service is going to be held on the following day, which is the day after the funeral. The wake and burial will take place at the All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio. In lieu of sending flowers, the family of Paul has requested that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society or the ALS Foundation in his memory.
