Patricia Lewis Obituary, Death –  PATRICIA J. LEWIS (nee Cuccillato), age 73, was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Lewis; the loving mother of Tiffany Ottaway (husband Matt) and Tristan Lewis (wife Caroline); the devoted grandmother of Liam and Charlotte Ottaway as well as Emma, Clint, and Flynn Lewis; the cherished daughter of the late Gaspard and Monique (nee Septier) Cuccillato; the dearest sister of On May 17, 1949, Patricia was born in the city of Aix-les-Bains, which is located in France. Patricia’s mother is French and her father is Italian; they met during World War II and eventually settled in France; as a result, Patricia was exposed to a variety of languages and cultures at a young age. She made the decision to become an au pair in the United States when she was 18 years old and joined a family in Princeton, New Jersey.

This choice would prove to be the one that would have the greatest impact on her life. She returned to France after a year of living in the United States with what she referred to as her “American Family.” But America just kept calling her back, and so she went back the following summer to see her family in Youngstown, Ohio, where they had relocated since she had left. During her time there, she went on a blind date with Bob Lewis, which led to the beginning of one of the most touching love stories ever told. Several months later, they tied the knot in France and eventually made their home in Warren, Ohio. Even though Patricia adored the United States, she had a very “French” personality.

She exuded an elegant, sophisticated French aesthetic and was always dressed to the nines. It was very important to her that her children be exposed to French culture in every way possible, such as by spending their summers in France and being taught all of the family’s top-secret recipes. She had a passion for exploring new places and making new friends. Patricia maintained close relationships with her international circle of friends by ensuring that they were kept informed of her whereabouts at all times. Her relationship with her family was her highest priority. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.

She was known as “Mimimi” to her five grandchildren, and she cherished every opportunity to shower them with love and presents. Patricia was destined to become a mother, and she instilled in her offspring a deep appreciation for the significance of the home, the past, the family, and the traditions. Those who had a close relationship with her will be able to find some measure of comfort in the knowledge that she has been resurrected to spend eternity with her “American Prince.”
