She was held in the highest regard not just by her students but also by their families, and the vast majority of her students and students’ families cherished her. During this difficult moment, Claire would like to convey her appreciation to everyone who has shown them support by demonstrating their love and concern for her. At the South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Kingstown, Rhode Island, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Patrick, who had reached the age of 91, passed away.
He called Warwick, Rhode Island, his home. She was a devoted wife to the late successful businessman Donald N. Patrick, who was predeceased by her husband. Daughter of the late Arthur F. Harrison and Cecelia M. (Dolan) Harrison, Claire Harrison was named after her late mother. Providence is the city where she was born. Claire has been an active parishioner at St. Gregory the Great for the past 42 years, making her one of its longest-serving members.
After successfully completing the requirements of each of the schools’ individual programs, she was granted a diploma by both the St. Mary Academy in Providence and the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She spent a significant portion of her career working as John Nicholas Brown and the Brown family’s personal secretary. Claire was a passionate sailor who was a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club for the greater part of four decades.
