Olivia Marie Death, Obituary – On December 3rd, 2022, Olivia Rose-Marie Kuhn, who was known to the people of Leesville as “The Queen of Leesville,” tragically passed away as the result of an unfortunate accident. The 3rd of December was the day that she passed away. We have to break the news to you about this latest turn of events, and we do so with a heavy heart. After Olivia had completed her lap of honour through the Ochsner Medical Center at 10:24 p.m., the surgical staff there made an official declaration of death for her. Olivia fought bravely right up until the very end, and in light of the incredible child that she was, we are incredibly proud of the fact that she did not give up until the very end of the fight.
Olivia chose to give away all of her organs rather than limit the number of people whose lives she was able to save to just a few in order to maximise the number of people whose lives she was able to save. We are about to embark on a new journey that will unquestionably be challenging; however, as long as Olivia is keeping a close eye over us, we will be able to get through it without suffering any significant setbacks. The time and day of the memorial service that will be held in honour of Olivia at the Family Worship Center have not yet been decided upon. The service will be held at some point in the future.
In lieu of sending flowers, please consider making a donation in Olivia’s name to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency at lopa.org or to the Leesville library, which was one of Olivia’s favourite places to visit during the summer when she was on break from school. You can find more information about both of these organisations at the links provided above. Through the links that have been provided, you will be able to acquire additional knowledge regarding both of these organizations. During this difficult time, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has provided financial assistance to us or who has kept us in their thoughts and prayers.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the members of Leesville’s emergency medical services (EMS), fire department, and police department, as well as the staff of the paediatric intensive care unit at Ochsner Medical Center, who provided compassionate and thoughtful care to both us and our children. Please accept our sincere gratitude for your assistance. These past few days have been unparalleled in terms of the love and concern that we have received from other people in comparison to anything else that we have ever experienced in the past.
