Neil MacCallum Death, Obituary – On December 2, 2022, Neil MacCallum, the partner of Lillian (MacDonald) MacCallum, passed away in a calm and peaceful manner at his old abode. He was married to Lillian (MacDonald) MacCallum. At the time of his departure, he had reached the age of seventy-five years old. On January 19, 1947, he became the first child to be born to Earl and Marvel (Scott) MacCallum. He was their first child. He was the first child they had together. He was the family’s oldest son and the oldest child overall. His sons Kenny and John, his granddaughters Jacklyn and Erica, his infant brother Weldon, his sisters Betty Ann and Alora (Lolly) MacCallum, and his brother-in-law Marvin King all passed away before Neil MacCallum did. His sister Betty Ann MacCallum and his granddaughter Erica MacCallum are the only members of his family he leaves behind.
Neil is survived by his wife Lillian, his son Robert (and his wife Dawn), Sandra and Jocelyn MacCallum, and other members of his family. He is also survived by other members of his family.
Our grandchildren are named Kevin (Jolene), Scott (Cassandra), Kyle (Hillary), Hillary (Julianne), Mitchell (Courtney), Alex (Alexandra), and Evan. Cassandra has Scott for a father. Scott is also her father. The marriage between Cassandra and Scott has been going strong for quite some time. Hillary is married to Kyle, and the two of them share a home together. Alexa, Landon, Grayson, Ryan, Noah, Addison, and Royce are the great-grandchildren of this couple.
They also have great-great-grandchildren named Royce and Reece. Alexa and Landon are our great-great-great-great-grandchildren. Sisters Sandra King, Donna (Hazen) Smallwood, and Cathy (Phillip) Connolly, along with their respective husbands and spouses; brothers Wayne (Louise), and Dale (Bonnie) MacCallum, along with their respective families. On Monday, December 5th, members of the family will be present at Bell’s Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in order to greet guests and hear their condolences. This visitation will take place on the day of the funeral.
The memorial service will be place in the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel at one o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022. The date and time of the event has not yet been determined. The date and time are not set in stone at this time. After the funeral service has come to a close, the burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Loggieville. To honor the memory of the person who has passed away, gifts can be sent to either the Pine Grove Cemetery in Loggieville or the donor’s preferred charitable organization.
