Matthew Morris Death, Obituary – Matthew Christopher Morris, often known as Matt or Cooter, lost his fight with cancer abruptly on November 29, 2022, after a long and difficult struggle with the disease. Matt Morris was born to his parents, Larry and Joyce Morris, on October 14, 1984 in the city of Oroville located in the state of California. The three of them — him, his older brother Rob, and his older sister Holly — spent their youth in Gridley, California. Matt’s early exposure to trucks sparked an early interest in them, and throughout his childhood, he spent a lot of time tinkering with trucks and hanging out with his Uncle Max and Pepa.
After completing his high school education, Matt went on to follow his ambition of becoming a truck driver by getting a job in the transportation industry. He had no idea that pursuing his dream would bring him together with Jessie, the woman he would spend the rest of his life with and who would become his soul mate. The two were inseparable from the very beginning of their relationship, and they got married on May 16, 2009. They didn’t waste any time getting started on their family and brought Baylee into the world as soon as they could after getting pregnant. Izzy joined their brood and made their family complete just a few short years later, bringing the total number of children to five.
Matt was the kindest, most devoted, and most loving parent and husband one could ever imagine, and for “his children,” he was willing to do absolutely anything at all. He tried his best to instil in her a passion for trucking by exposing her to activities such as riding quads with Baylee and driving the truck with Izzy as his co-pilot whenever he could. He also did everything he could to encourage her to pursue her dream of becoming a truck driver. Both of Matt’s girls were the lights of his life, and he did everything in his power to provide for them. His family consists of his wife, Jessie, and their two children, Baylee and Izzy, and they all reside in Willows.
They are Matt’s surviving relatives. His parents, Joyce and Larry Morris, who live in Gridley; his brother, Rob Morris, who lives in Missouri; his sister, Holly Morris, who lives in Kansas; his in-laws, Tom and Lanora Phelps, who live in Willows; a large number of nieces and nephews; and, of course, his uncle, Max Walters, who lives in Biggs. All of these members of his family can be found in the United States. At the Elks Lodge in Willows, California, on the 10th of December, 2022, at 4:30 in the afternoon, there will be a celebration of life held in honour of Matt. This event will take place in Willows, California. However, if you would like to bring something related to dessert, you are more than welcome to do so. The catering for the Celebration will be provided by one of Matt’s favourite Mexican restaurants, but you are more than welcome to bring something related to dessert.
