Marsha Huff Obituary, Death – Marsha (Odom) Huff, 66, passed away on December 4, 2022, at her home in Pittsburg, Illinois, surrounded by the love of her family. She was called to be with her Lord and Savior. Marsha Odom, the daughter of Ted and Mary Ruth (Boles) Odom, was delivered into the world on September 23, 1956. She received her high school diploma from Crab Orchard in the year 1974. Marsha was a devout follower of the Christian religion. She devoted her entire existence to taking care of her family. Her grandchildren were the “crowning glory” of her life, and she “loved them to the moon and back.” Over the course of her life, she became well-known within her family and among her friends for her role as a caregiver. She was available to help anyone who required her assistance. Jesse, her son, talks about how much respect he has for his mother and how much he understands about what it means to be a caregiver now that he has taken on that role for himself. Jesse is talking about how much his mother means to him.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Huff; her son, Jesse Orr (and his wife, Brandy); her stepsons, Justin Huff and Jason Bradley; her stepdaughter, Charla Samples (and her husband, Gene); her grandchildren, Tyler, Jourdyn, Charli, Wyatt, Caden, Isabella, and Christopher; her brother, Keith Odom (and his wife, Sharon); her sisters-in-law, Gayle Odom and Leslie Odom;
Her parents, her first husband Charles Orr, her brothers Roger, Jeff, and Randall Odom, her sister Deanna Odom, and her grandson Wade Orr have all passed away before her. She is survived by her sister Deanna Odom. On Friday, December 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Binkley-Ross Funeral Home, which is located at 1702 West Boulevard Street in Marion. After the funeral, the burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Pittsburg.
