Malachi Davis Obituary, Death – It was confirmed on Saturday that the driver of one of the vehicles that was involved in an automobile accident in Morton on November 29 had gone away, increasing the total number of people who lost their lives as a result of that accident to two. The event occurred on November 29. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood issued a press release in which she stated that 84-year-old Harold J. Mitchell, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center for treatment. Harwood stated this information in the press release that she issued. Jamie Harwood, the Coroner for Peoria County, issued a news statement that included the information that was in the release. Even though he was offered treatment that could have saved his life, he did not survive the struggle and passed away on December 8, just four days after the tragedy that he was involved in.
Over the course of his life, Mitchell had major and multiple injuries as a result of blunt force trauma, which finally resulted in his passing away. The results of his toxicological examination are not yet accessible to the public.
On Tuesday, November 29, at around 4:20 o’clock in the afternoon, a collision took occurred in Morton at the intersection of Harding and Washington that ultimately led to Mitchell’s passing away. The collision was responsible for Mitchell’s demise. Mitchell’s passing was directly attributable to the accident that occurred. Patricia Mitchell, who was 82 years old and the wife of Harold Mitchell, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. Harold Mitchell was also pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, Harold Mitchell passed away. The investigation into the collision that occurred earlier is currently being carried out by both the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police.
