Lynda Yeadon Obituary, Death – Lynda Yeadon passed away in hospital in the early morning of Saturday 3rd December, after a recent bout of pneumonia. She had bravely fought pulmonary hypertension and sarcoidosis, a chronic auto-immune disease of the lungs. The stress of recent illnesses took its toll. She is survived by her loving husband Martin and children Drew, Sam, Kate and Sarah. The committee expresses our deepest condolences to them and her extended family. We offer our support and love during this difficult and painful time.
Lynda’s creative flair, love for her family and friends, passion for musical theatre and contribution to building our company will be remembered. She left an indelible mark on us with her artistic
visions and musical directorship. Under her leadership, we staged Seussical, Oliver, Madagascar Jnr and The Wizard of Oz. Lynda was a founding committee member, an Executive and volunteer, over the past six years.
Lynda often spoke about the joy and confidence she gained from performing and creating. She loved and embraced all aspects of musical theatre from directing, teaching, singing, producing, set
design, costuming, front of house, fundraising and more. She was a loving and supportive friend to many. She will be missed by those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
