Lorraine Evans Death, Obituary – Lorraine Evans, whose maiden name was Eisele, passed away at Oak Trace in Downers Grove, Illinois, on November 29, 2022. She was 95 years old at the time of her death. Her passing was peaceful and unruffled. She was born on March 17th, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Ruth Sparks and Leo Eisele, both of whom have now passed away. She wed the man who would become the love of her life, BJ Evans, on April 16, 1946, and the couple remained together until his passing on January 7, 2001. Both of her parents had already passed away before she was born. They instilled in all three of their children a passion for outdoor activities, including camping and hiking (having been to forty-nine of the fifty states.)

At Sears, where she worked for a number of years and found a great deal of fulfilment in her profession, Lorraine specialised in providing excellent service to customers. She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading, playing bingo, and listening to music, all of which are hobbies that she passed on to her children and encouraged them to pursue. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Andy Williams, and Michael Bublé were among her favourite musicians. She also liked Michael Bublé. She had an infectiously positive demeanour, was usually impeccably dressed, and had a deep-seated interest in the fashion industry. Both of these aspects of her character were well recognised.

Her brother Jerome and her grandson Steven were also among those who had preceded her in death, in addition to her parents and spouse. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her spouse. Her three sons, Steve, Ken, and Gale, as well as her grandson Nicholas and great-grandson Christian, are the last surviving members of her family. She was the last of her family to pass away. Visitation will be held at Watson-North Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm, and the funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm from the chapel of Watson – North Funeral Home.
