Leonard Fyffe Obituary, A native of Greenup has died - Death

Leonard Fyffe Death, Obituary – Leonard Glenn “Zip” Fyffe II, who was 68 years old at the time of his death, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland. He considered the community of Greenup, which is located in Kentucky, to be his home. During the final moments of his life, he was attended to by members of his devoted family who were positioned on all sides of the bed. “Zip” Fyffe was the son of the late Garnette Louise “Pat” Evans Fyffe and Leonard Glenn “Jack” Fyffe. Both of his parents have since passed away. Zip Fyffe was born on June 18th, 1954 in the city of Russell, which is located in the state of Kentucky. The 18th of June was both “Zip” Fyffe’s birthday and the date of his birth. Unfortunately, his father did not survive the illness and passed away.

“Zip” was a member of the Sons of the Greenup AmVets Post # 95 when he graduated from what is now known as the former Wurtland High School in 1972. The school is now known as the former Wurtland High School. “Zip” received his diploma from what is now known as the former Wurtland High School when he was a student there. He is survived by Linda Tackett, who has been his companion for the past 25 years; his son, Leonard Glenn Fyffe III, and his wife Katrina, who reside in Greenup, Kentucky; his daughter, Christy Zabrieszack, and her husband Andy, who reside in Argillite, Kentucky; his three brothers, Terry Fyffe, Ronald Fyffe, and Timothy Fyffe, who all reside in Lloyd, Kentucky; and his four grandchildren, Andrew (Hillary) Za

Funeral services will be held at Reed Funeral Home, which is located in Greenup, on Monday, December 5, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon. This date and time are subject to change. There has been no decision made regarding the time or date of the services as of yet. There is no prior notice required for any changes to be made to this date and time. A funeral service for the individual who has passed away will be held in Greenup at the Plum Grove Cemetery on the day that has been designated for the service. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Monday at eleven in the morning and continue right up until the start of the service at one o’clock in the afternoon. The memorial service is scheduled to take place on Monday after lunch. On Monday, following lunch, there will be a memorial service held in honour of the deceased.
