Josie Sanctis Obituary, Death – She slept peacefully in the city of Pittsburgh till the day she died, which was December 30th, 2020, and she was 92 years old. She was born on December 17th, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Patrick Leo and Eleanor Healy McAlister. Her parents have now passed away. Her father had already passed away when she was still an unborn child. Patricia Sanctis was the beloved wife of Anthony Sanctis for 59 years before he passed away.
She was the loving mother of Mary Joan Machovina, Fairfax VA, Thomas (Teresa) Sanctis, Charlotte NC, and David Sanctis, Pittsburgh PA. Patricia was also the proud grandmother of Christopher (Elizabeth) Machovina, Oakton VA, Amy Machovina & Michael Sanctis, Arlington VA, and Anthony (Jen She was a contributing member of the Saints Simon and Jude Parish community for more than six decades. Patricia was a wonderful mother, but she was also a doting parent to her two beautiful dogs, Colonel and Gus. Both dogs were spoiled rotten.
In the first place, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who did everything she could to take care of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Everyone is going to terribly miss having her around. The funeral service for the deceased person will be place on Wednesday at ten in the morning at the Saints Simon and Jude Parish. The service will be a Mass of Christian Burial. Following the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
