Joseph Zarelli Obituary, Death –On the day of his passing on October 20, 2011, Joseph L. Zarrelli, who had resided in Danbury for the bulk of his life, was a patient at Danbury Hospital. Zarrelli had spent the majority of his life in the city of Danbury. At the time of the interview, he had already lived for 86 years. Joseph Zarrelli was the son of the late Joseph Zarrelli and Maria(DuPuis) Zarrelli. Both Joseph Zarrelli and Maria Zarrelli predeceased him.
Joseph and Maria Zarrelli, his parents, had passed away before he was born. His parents, Joseph and Maria Zarrelli, had already passed away when he was still in the womb. After fulfilling his obligation to serve in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS LST-672, he went on to work for Amphenol RF as a Credit Union Manager until the time of his retirement.
During this time, he was stationed in the Pacific Theater. He was able to reach the point in his career where he could retire. At one point in time, it was believed that he was a member of both the St. Joseph Church in Danbury, Connecticut, and the Catholic War Veterans Post 1042 in Danbury, Connecticut. Both of these organizations are located in Danbury, Connecticut. The headquarters of each of these organizations can be found in the same metropolitan area.
His children who are still alive are Mary Frances Varanelli and her husband Kenneth, who live in Waterbury; Paula Tomassi and her husband Michael, who live in Danbury; and Joseph Zarrelli and his wife Laurie, who live in Glastonbury. All of his children have married and currently reside in Connecticut. Both sets of partners have tied the knot. Paula Tomassi and her husband Michael call the city of Danbury in the state of Connecticut their permanent residence.
In addition, he is survived by his six grandchildren, who are known by the following names: Mary Catherine Varanelli, Jennifer, David, and Anthony Tomassi, as well as Kristen and Joseph Zarrelli. In 2010, he was left without his beloved wife and companion of many years, Emily. She had passed away. They had been married for a length of time that was considered to be significant.
