Johnny Kirkpatrick Death, Obituary – I’m sorry to have to break the news to you, but owd Micky guy Johnny Kirkpatrick passed suddenly yesterday after an unexpected illness. I am really sorry to have to break this news to you, but it is what it is. To begin, I would like to transcribe the message that I received from the family before I add anything else about myself to this post. Alec, Caroline, and Florence Kirkpatrick are all in a state of intense grief as a result of the news that their brother Johnny departed dead the day before yesterday. The loss of a much-loved brother, uncle, brother-in-law, ex-husband, step-dad, granddad, and great-granddad has befallen both Janet and her family in Hunslet and the Kirkpatrick family in Micklefield.
Janet’s family lives in Hunslet, and the Kirkpatrick family lives in Micklefield. It is impossible to put into words how much his entire family and so many of his friends will miss him after he has passed away because they all loved and cared for him so deeply. Around the age of 18, while Johnny was still a young adult trying to find his footing in the world, he started going to the Blands and Club. During that time, my relationship with Johnny was really strong. I have only ever known him to be a pleasant, well-mannered, and polite young man who always had a grin on his face. I have never known him to be anything other than that.
Always greeting me and offering to buy me a drink before he left with his buddies, he would also have a quick talk with me before he went on his way. When I think back on Johnny, I will always picture him as a young man who was always ready to crack a joke and have a good laugh. On behalf of both Julie and myself, as well as this Micky Memories website, I would like to offer our most sincere condolences and sympathies to Johnny’s family, as well as to all of his friends and acquaintances. I am saddened to hear of Johnny’s passing, and I am sorry for your loss. Owd Micky lad, may you finally get the peace you deserve and rest in heaven. You leave a significant void in the lives of a lot of people, and the only way that void can be filled is with happy memories right now.
