Joe White Obituary, Death – Joseph A. White, age 73, of Plain City, Ohio, passed away at the Ohio State University Medical Center on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Joseph was born on October 3rd, 1948 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Between the years 1968 and 1974, he served in the Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant. Joseph was clock number seven during his more than two decades of service as a supervisor at Honda Transmissions. His favorite place to fish was Watts Bar Lake, which is located near Ten Mile, Tennessee.

Joseph was a coon hunter and bred Red Bone Coon Hounds at his kennel. He followed college sports closely and was The Ohio State University’s number one supporter. His favorite school was Ohio State. His parents, Joseph and Maxine (Lombard) White, as well as his wife of 36 years, Jeannie (Trout) White, both passed away before him. His brother and sister-in-law also passed away before him. The White family: Joseph Lowell and Nadine White, their brother Phillip White, their grandson Derrick “JS” White, their father-in-law Buddy Trout, and their devoted friend Princess Lady Bug.

He is survived by his children Christy Lynn (David Swift) Morgan and Anthony Scott White; his granddaughter Mara Swift; his siblings John (Carolyn) Schreck, Roxana (James) Mink, Donald (Lynda) White, Frank White, Mary (Andy) Furr; his mother-in-law Loretta (Myers) Trout; his sisters-in-law Margaret White, Lisa Seale, and Linda (Tony) Dana; and his “friend The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Ferguson Funeral Home, located at 202 E. Main Street in Plain City. The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at this location. Pastor Phil Conrad will officiate. Interment will take place at the Forest Grove Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Union County Honor Guard.
