James Colley Obituary, Former General Motors employee has passed away - Death

James Colley Obituary, Death –  James passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 63, while he was a patient at the Toronto General Hospital. He was surrounded by members of his family and friends at the time of his passing. How can such a larger-than-life man who loved with his whole heart be contained in such a confined space? He exemplified everything that a young man should strive to become and more. He was loving, kind, generous, dependable, and strong all at the same time. He put in thirty years of hard work at General Motors, and it was there that he met the woman who would become his wife.

His laugh and smile could bring light into even the gloomiest of situations, and we will all be better people for having had the opportunity to love and be loved by him for as long as we did. His smile and laugh could bring light into even the darkest of situations. It was remarkable to see how much he cared for his family. Jimmy was the cherished husband of Nancy, who will remember him fondly for the rest of her life and continue to hold him in her heart forever. Kayla Durkin (Coral) and Tyler will always think very highly of him as a father, just as they do now. His stepchildren, Stephanie Schaeffer and Greg Schaeffer, will always hold a special place in their hearts for him (Sara).

The absence of Riley and Sophia’s Papa J will never be filled. A devoted son of John and brother to Jack (Rose). Kim Huntley’s loyal and devoted best friend. His mother Shirley (nee Croft), his sister Jeannie, his brother Jeffrey, and his son-in-law Dave all passed away before him (Stephanie). His nieces and nephews, along with the rest of his family, will miss him very much. His longtime friends Roy Cannon, Bob Heeney, Gary Conway, as well as Marty and Dawn Betts, will grieve the loss of their dear friend in their own unique ways. We can only wish that just one more time we could give you a hug, listen to your laughter, or watch a Rams game with you.

Because someone like you could never be forgotten, you will continue to be loved long after any of our years have passed. The MORSE and SON FUNERAL HOME on 5917 Main Street in Niagara Falls has been entrusted with the responsibility of making the necessary arrangements. Cremation took place as James had requested before his passing. The Colley family expresses their deepest gratitude for any contributions made in James’ memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lincoln County Humane Society. Both organizations do important work.
