Hannah Steefkerk  Death, Obituary – The abrupt passing of Hannah Steefkerk, a gifted and enthusiastic textile artist, has left us in a state of profound and indescribable sadness. The news of her passing came as a direct result of the fact that we learned about her passing. At this time, those of us who work at TextileArtist.org are thinking about her immediate family, as well as all of her close friends and neighbors in the surrounding area. We are saddened by the news that she passed away, and our thoughts go out to them. The news of her passing has left us in a state of deep sadness.

In addition to this, we would like to provide to you a photograph that was taken of the installation in the year 2021 that is significantly more detailed. This creative project was given the term “Spotted” as its name at the time of its completion. Her works of art, which range in size from enormous textile collages to more intimate hand embroideries, primarily depict a variety of different species of birds and mammals that are roughly the same size as one another. Her textile collages can be enormous, and her hand embroideries can be very small. Her artwork is included in private collections across the United States as well as Europe.

Her piece of artwork, which was exhibited at Bankside Gallery in the year 2022 and was given the title “Little Egret,” was a part of the Broderers’ Exhibition: The Art of Embroidery show. The gallery served as the venue for this event.
