Griffyn Dollarhyde Obituary, Death – The circumstances behind the death of a guy from Centralia, age 25, who was discovered dead in Fort Borst Park on Saturday, have not been determined by the authorities who are looking into the case. On Tuesday morning, the Lewis County Coroner’s Office provided conclusive evidence that the deceased man was indeed Griffyn Dollarhyde. According to the call logs, a resident called Lewis County 911 Communications on December 3 at approximately 1:40 p.m. and reported seeing an unconscious person near Fort Borst Park.
According to a press release, responding police from the Centralia Police Department spotted the body, which “looked to be a transient guy,” in a picnic shelter. After receiving the initial 911 call, the Lewis County Coroner’s Office was summoned to the location approximately fifteen minutes later. According to the Lewis County Coroner Warren McLeod, the cause and manner of death of Dollarhyde are “pending toxicology and further forensic studies.”
However, the Centralia Police Department stated on Tuesday that “there were no outward signs of foul play at the time of the initial investigation” and that “preliminary tests performed by the Lewis County Coroner’s Office indicate that illegal drugs were present in Dollarhyde’s body.” The inquiry into this matter is not yet complete. Anyone who may have information regarding the event is urged to get in touch with Detective Timothy Odell through the Centralia Police Department’s non-emergency line, which can be reached at 360-740-1105.
