Gerard Crawley Death, Obituary – We are in a state of deep mourning due to the news that our author, Professor Gerard Marcus Crawley, has passed away. This information has left us in a state of shock. In addition to his roles as a professor and dean emeritus at the University of South Carolina in the United States of America, Professor Crawley served as President of Marcus Enterprises LLC, a company that had its headquarters in the state of North Carolina. Prior to taking on these responsibilities, Professor Crawley served as the Director of the Frontiers Engineering and Science Directorate of Science Foundation Ireland from 2004–2007 and as the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics at the University of South Carolina from 1998–2004.
Both of these positions were held before Professor Crawley assumed his current roles. Both of these positions were held by Professor Crawley before she assumed her current responsibilities. These two positions were previously held but were filled before the ones that are being filled now. From 1994 until 1998, he served as the Dean of the Graduate School at Michigan State University. His tenure there spanned the years 1994–1998. His time spent working there spanned the entirety of those years. Before that, from 1988 until 1994, he was the head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University (MSU).

Dr. Crawley attended Princeton University to earn his doctorate in the field of physics in 1965. He was one of the few students in his class to graduate with honors. Between the years 2008 and 2011, he worked as a consultant for the National Research Foundation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Between the years 2008 and 2012, he worked as a consultant for the National Center for Science and Technical Evaluation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Between the years 2008 and 2012, both of these roles were played by a variety of actors.
