Eric Moody Obituary, Death – We are writing to share with you the news of Eric Moody’s demise, which comes with a heavy heart. Eric was a longtime member of the club, as well as a previous friend of the club’s committee and its chairman. Funeral services for Eric will be place on Wednesday, December 21 at 12:15 p.m. at the Wessex Crematorium in Hedge End for anyone who would like to pay their respects. The wake for Eric will take place in the Locks Heath Working Men’s Club after the service.
On May 5, 1972, in Memphis, Tennessee, Eric Eugene Moody was brought into the world by his parents, Evie and Walter Moody. Elanna Harris, the girl he had a crush on in high school and later fell in love with, became his bride on October 14, 1992. They were delighted to welcome two stunning daughter Erica Moody was born in May 1995, and Erin Moody was born in 1993. (January 1997). Eric started his professional life as a young man working for Braggs Electric Company as a traveling electrician after completing an apprenticeship in engineering.
Recently, in March of 2021, he welcomed his first grandchild, Ke’Asia Walker.
In the later years of his life, Eric retired from his work as an electrician and \sbecame a resident in Southaven, MS; where he resided until he transitioned \sfrom life on November 2, 2022. In the time leading up to his departure, he joined the Cathedral Hope Community Church as a member. Additionally, he was a part of the Night Owls chapter that was held in Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his parents Evie Moody and Walter Moody as \swell as his brother Keith Williams.
Eric left to treasure his memory: his wife, daughters, grandchild, his \sbrothers; Christopher Moody (Ryan Lalonde) and Edward Moody and sisters Patty \sWilliams and Leasie Williams including a number of nieces and nephews.
