Effie Bell Wagers Death, Obituary – On Thursday, December 1, 2022, Effie Bell Wagers, who had been a resident of Bulan, Kentucky all of her life, passed away at the age of 87 at the Hazard Health and Rehab Center. Effie played the role of a mother figure for the congregation of the Church of Lord Jesus Christ in Hiner, where she had been a member for a significant portion of her life. Her tenure there spanned more than 60 years.
She held dear the opportunities she had to spend time with those she cared about, both family and friends. Effie was the kind of person who never met a stranger, and she always managed to leave those around her with a pleasant impression. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Stidham and the late Versie Combs Stidham. Both of her parents had passed away before she was born. Before she was even born, neither of her parents were still alive anymore. Additionally, her husband had already passed away before to her passing: Willie Wagers had two brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter named Effie Betty.
His daughter’s name was Ethel Gail Combs, and her son’s name was Jake Wagers. Effie Betty was his grandchild. She is living her life to the fullest. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. At this time, Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel is in charge of the arrangements, and they will host the visitation. Carlo White and Rocky Jett will preside over the funeral ceremony that will be performed at Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel on Monday, December 5, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The date of the event is December 5th. Hiner Cemetery, which is located in Bulan, Kentucky, has been selected as the site for the interment.
