Edo Edens Death, Obituary – We are sorry to inform you that Edo “EDO8” Edens passed away over the weekend, and we would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. An individual who has been a part of the crew at Clone Records for a significant amount of time and who has also worked under the aliases DJ Edo8 and Mr. Portamento and who has in the past been a member of both Doubledutch and Cosmic Force. As part of their legacy, they have left behind an incredible body of musical work that has remained unwavering in its commitment to remaining faithful to the traditions from which it grew.
We still have fond memories of him traveling to the very first location of the Clone Store on Saturday mornings in the year 1996 with his friends from Alkmaar, which is a city located on the northern section of the Dutch West Coast. The year was 1996. It was 1996 at the time. The year was 1996 when this took place. They were trying to make connections with other DJs who had musical tastes comparable to their own while simultaneously looking for new imports to add to their collection. The year 1998 saw the release of the album “Robot Poetry,” which was the first offering from Cosmic Force and was distributed with pride at the time of its release.
The band Cosmic Force made their debut with the release of this album. It has been exactly 25 years since the release of his first record, and he just this fall released the album that is the most recent addition to his discography at this point in his career. Because I had the opportunity to do so, I will never take for granted the fact that I was able to work alongside him for all of these years because it was a privilege that I will never take for granted. Those who had a meaningful relationship with him will feel a sense of loss upon learning that he is no longer able to muster the energy to be as enthusiastic about the music as he once was. RIP EDO. Since our travels are going to take us into space, I’ll see you in the cosmos, buddy, when we finally arrive there.
