Doug Keddie Death, Obituary – Doug Keddie, who had worked as a media specialist for Shakopee Public Schools, passed away, as was revealed early this morning on a public page on CaringBridge, which is where the announcement was made. It was his wife who broke the news to the general public. It is with the deepest regret that we have to share this information with you, but unfortunately, things are as they are. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Doug began his new position as a teacher in the Shakopee Public Schools in August of 2004, having been hired for the position of teaching third grade at Red Oak Elementary School.
The beginning of Doug’s career as a teacher in the Shakopee Public Schools was a successful one thanks in large part to this particular moment in time. Since he was already familiar with the Eagle Creek Elementary School, he returned there in 2008 and continued working there in the same capacity until 2010. During the time that he worked for the school district, he was in charge of a variety of tasks that belonged to the roles of Technology Integration Specialist and Media Specialist. In addition, he was responsible for a number of other tasks. As a direct result of his involvement in these roles, he was in a position to provide assistance to a wide variety of companies and their employees.
Doug’s most recent role was that of Media Specialist at both Eagle Creek Elementary School and Red Oak Elementary School. He held both of these positions simultaneously. He served in this capacity for a considerable amount of time. In addition to that, he was responsible for both of these responsibilities at the same time. Members of the support staff will be stationed in various parts of the building throughout the course of the day in order to provide assistance to both the teaching staff and the students. This is done in order to ensure that everyone’s needs are met.
