David Butler Death, Obituary – We are writing this notice with heavy hearts to let you know that David Butler has passed away, and we are sorry that we have to share this news with you. We are writing this letter with heavy hearts to let you know that David Butler has passed away. David was one of the first persons to sign up to become a member of the Habitat for Humanity branch that serves the Sarnia and Lambton area. He committed every moment of his life to enhancing the quality of life for those around him in whatever way he could.
David was quite active in the local Habitat for Humanity organization as a volunteer, and he took a lot of satisfaction in his work. In addition to the various Global Village construction projects that took place right here in Sarnia and Lambton, he also took part in some of the Global Village construction projects that took place in other areas of the world. Even after he had officially retired, he never stopped providing informed opinion on various current events. He worked his way up through the ranks of the board of directors to become President, a post he held for a number of years, and even after he retired, he remained to hold this position.
