Danielle Potochnik Obituary, Death – A terrible accident took the life of a member of our team who not only worked with us but also was someone who we thought of as a close friend. Not only did he or she work with us, but we also thought of them as a friend. We are going to miss having him or her here with us. For the past seventeen years, my time spent working with Danielle Potochnik has brought me nothing but pure and unadulterated happiness. I hope that we will be able to maintain our friendship throughout the years to come. Danielle was not only a fervent cheerleader for the other athletes on her team, but she was also a fervent cheerleader for the patients that she assisted in caring for while working in the hospital.
She took in strays that were hard to love and rescued injured wildlife that she found on the side of the road because she had a strong compassion for all of the animals that she came into contact with.
