Chaz Reeser Obituary, Death – Michael J. Gagnon, who was 57 years old when he passed away, was a resident of Wakefield. He passed away on August 10, 2016, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Michael was raised in Wakefield and received his high school diploma from Northeast Regional Vocational School, also located in Wakefield, in the year 1976. He was born in Melrose. Over the course of more than two decades, he contributed his hard work and dedication to the Carpenters Union Local 33, where he held the position of Carpenter.

Mike was a lifelong inhabitant of Wakefield who was known for his outgoing personality and widespread popularity. Michael enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and vacationing in York, Maine. He was the devoted son of Doris L. (D’Entremont) Gagnon, who resided in Wakefield, and the late Norman J. Gagnon. Kind and kind brother to Norman J. Gagnon and his wife Jane of Stoneham, as well as the late Peter J. and Stephen J. Gagnon. David R. Gagnon, resident of Wakefield, Gagnon’s devoted father.

Previously married to Emily Bumstead Gagnon of Wakefield, he divorced her. Uncle who cares for his nieces and nephews, Sara (Gagnon) Cline, Susie Gagnon, Ginny Cummings, Tom Jordan, and Rachel and Adam Chanley. Also survived by several cousins, aunts, uncles, and aunts and uncles, as well as acquaintances. On Sunday, August 14th, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, there will be a visitation held at the Gately Funeral Home, which is located at 79 West Foster Street in Melrose. On Monday, August 15th, at 10 in the morning, there will be a funeral ceremony performed at the Gately Funeral Home.
