Charlene Strickland Obituary, Death – Charlene Carol Strickland was brought into the world by her parents, Charles Mosley and Glenda Glenda Mosley, on July 4, 1974. Her birth took place in Baytown, Texas. Charlene’s death occurred on Sunday, November 27, 2022, when she was 48 years old. Her passing was peaceful and unruffled. She only had one child, a son who she called Carter Strickland, and she doted on him and raised him with a lot of love and pride. She was an attentive and loving mother.
Although Charlene spent her formative years in the city of Channelview, Texas, she now calls the city of Mont Belvieu, Texas, her home. Charlene graduated from Channelview High School, where she participated in the Channelettes’ Drill Team and held the position of Major. She then went on to get her graduation. Following her graduation from the University of Houston – Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Charlene went on to earn a Secondary Education Certification and eventually began a career as a teacher.
Charlene is currently teaching at an elementary school. Charlene has an extensive teaching background spanning over ten years. At the beginning of her extremely successful career, Charlene worked as a high school science teacher for the Channelview Independent School District. During that time, she was in the Houston area. She earned a master’s degree in school library and information science from the University of Houston.
Clear Lake, and then she began working as a librarian for the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District immediately after completing her coursework for the degree. In her current role as Coordinator of Instructional Materials for the Pasadena Independent School District (ISD), Charlene has been employed by the district for the past six years. She has served for a number of years on the Board of Directors of the Instructional Materials Coordinators Association of Texas (IMCAT), where she is also serving at the present time as the organization’s Treasurer. She had a passion for traveling in addition to her work, and she cherished the time she got to spend with her loved ones while they were accompanying her on her adventures across the world.
Before Charlene was born, both of her grandfathers, Billy Mayfield and Ruth Mosley, as well as her father, Charles Mosley, and both of her grandmothers, Ernest and Audrey Mosley, had already passed away. There are only five members of Charlene’s family still alive: her son Carter Strickland, her mother Glenda Mosley, her sister Regina King and her husband Shannon King, and her nephew Chad Goodman. Her father passed away when she was young. During her time on earth, Charlene made a lasting impression on a large number of individuals, and she was cherished by not only her own family but also by the many people she called her friends. Everyone will grieve her passing in their own unique ways.
