Bruce Cooley Obituary, Co-chair of ECA's member has died - Death

Bruce Cooley Death, Obituary – The news that our friend Bruce Cooley, who had recently passed away unexpectedly and was also the co-chair of the Communications team at ECA, had passed away came as a shock to us at the end of the previous week. Because of our close relationship with him, we are saddened to inform others of his passing. Please accept our condolences. His wife, Sara, and their daughter, Dallas, will take over for him when he passes away. They have decided to carry on the family company. This is a significant and unlucky setback that must be overcome.

At ECA, Bruce had a lot of wonderful friends, all of whom are going to be absolutely heartbroken about his passing. In addition to being a reliable and patient leader, he was also a colleague who was kind and supportive. He was excellent in both of these roles. He was a hilarious and cool man all rolled into one. Above all things, he was a passionate climate warrior who was driven to ensure that his daughter, Dallas, will inherit a planet that is habitable. This was his primary motivation. This was the fundamental impetus behind his actions. We are going to recognize all of the hard work that Bruce has put into the ECA by giving the January newsletter the name Bruce’s Corner and sending it out to each and every member of the organization.

In addition to this, we will ensure that his legacy lives on by commemorating his life and work by planting one hundred trees in his honor. These trees will serve as a living memorial to his life and work.
