Funeral arrangements Death, Obituary – As soon as we found out that our beloved friend Barbara Madigan had passed away, our hearts were overcome with grief. I pray that she finds eternal rest. Barbara assumed the role of Chairperson of the St. Mary’s Parish Pastoral Council in 2017 and served in that capacity until 2022. She brought a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and commitment to the role that she was playing.

She was an excellent organizer and was able to deal with any difficulties that arose, particularly COVID and all of the responsibilities that it demanded of her. She was able to deal with any difficulties that arose. You didn’t say no to Barbara because you knew she wouldn’t say no to you. Her ability to get people involved and give them the impression that they were an integral part of the parish team was one of the many wonderful gifts that she possessed.Ar dheis Dé go raibh an h-anam uasal.

Both her loving husband Gerry and her daughter Barbara preceded her in death before she did. Our deepest sympathies go out to her loving family members Patrick, Annmarie, Helen, and Paula; her cherished grandchildren Millie, James, Isabelle, Hugh, Niall, Emily, Elena, Oisn, Patrick, Jamie, and Andrew; her daughter-in-law Julie; her sons-in-law Colm, Kieran, and Niall; her brothers Michael, Martin, and John (Tony); and her sister Mary; as well as her brothers-in-law and

Funeral arrangements
On Friday evening, December 2nd, at 7 o’clock, prayers will be held for the departed at St. Mary’s Church in Kilmurry McMahon, which is also where the body will be lying in repose beginning at 5 o’clock. St. Mary’s Church is located in Kilmurry McMahon. On Saturday, December 3, at 11 am, there will be a funeral mass. This will be followed by a service at the Shannon Crematorium, where the cremation of the deceased will take place.
