He was stationed in a number of various places all over the South Pacific theater of operations. For the prior 55 years, he had been an active participant in the activities of the American Legion Post #133 in Woodbury. Andy was employed by Texaco in West Deptford for a total of 28 years before accepting his retirement in 1983. During that time, he held the position of Head Operator on the Crude Unit. In the annals of history, he will be recalled as a guy who, on a daily basis, exerted a great deal of work and who was a dedicated and caring husband and father.
