Alex Shull Obituary, Death – My son Alex Shull passed suddenly early last evening, as most of you probably already know, but I still wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of his passing. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Price McElroy funeral home located in Kenton, Ohio. to one in the afternoon, with the burial taking place in the cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio, immediately following. My son, Branden Doseck, who is his brother and whom he has missed terribly each and every day, will be the one to bury him.
Although we are deeply grieved by Alex’s loss, we are comforted by the knowledge that he will no longer have to endure the torment of renal dialysis three times per week, needle pricks, surgical procedures, illness, or discomfort. Starting when he was only 2 years old, he was prodded and poked at all hours of the day, every day.
Alex was a fierce fighter, a loyal friend, and a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He will be missed. He will be sorely and profoundly missed by so many. Now, after 30 years of suffering, my dear son can finally spend his life in peace, and we are confident that we will one day see him again, entire, content, and without pain. In the meantime before I can be reunited with both of my sons, I intend to live vicariously through them and for them. I know that the embrace and kiss that I sent to heaven from all of us made it there yesterday because I sent it.
I ask that you say a prayer for each and every member of my family.
At this moment, I am unable to digest details or think forward due to the fact that we are trying to prepare a supper for after the meeting. Please do not hesitate to contact my daughter Macy Doseck, my sister Katy Abrams Taylor, or my niece Carlie Jo Christine Lanning if you have any suggestions on the organization of a meal. They are able to provide me with any information or assistance. Instead of donating to any other cause, the funeral home is accepting donations in order to assist with the financial burden of paying for the funeral. Many thanks to everyone!
