Adam Dunn Toronto Obituary, Death –  We want to express our deepest condolences to Adam Dunn Toronto’s family and friends as we share the news that he passed away on November 16 in San Francisco, California, where he lived and worked. His death was unexpected but peaceful. His five siblings, Jesse (Tiffany), Esther, Joanna, Brett, and Abby Shumway are among those who will miss him after his passing. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Marilyn Toronto (Rosson). Madison, Robby, Eli, Taylor, Jordan, Ryland and Clara Toronto, Rickie and Sunnie Shumway, and the countless other members of his extended family, friends, and coworkers who he cherished all held a special place in his heart. He adored all of them.

Adam was born on February 20, 1981, and he spent the majority of his childhood in Mesa, Arizona. However, he also spent time growing up in Taiwan and Colorado. After graduating from Mountain View High School, where he excelled as a pianist, athlete, and student, he went on to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru for a period of two years. During this time, he also received his diploma. After that, he attended Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. After that, he attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received a Master of Science degree in Public Administration. He directed corporate compliance for many of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world during his 15 years of experience working in the Life Sciences industry. His extraordinary professional endeavors took him to Boston, Orange County, and San Francisco, all of which he cherished and called home during his time there.

Adam was truly unparalleled in terms of his dazzling personality, boundless generosity, and boundless love for other people. Because of his extraordinary gift of making friends with anyone he came in contact with and demonstrating genuine, unconditional love for everyone he met, he amassed thousands of friends from all walks of life, all of whom loved him deeply. We won’t be able to express how much his absence will be felt.

A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services on Saturday, December 3 beginning at 9am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1266 S. 32nd St, Mesa, Arizona 85204. The funeral services will begin at 11am. A viewing will also take place on Friday evening, December 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toronto residence, located at 955 S. 26th Street, Mesa, 85204. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Adam’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which was one of his most cherished organizations.
