Aaron Marshbanks Obituary, Death –¬†Aaron Marshbanks made it his mission to glorify God by leading an extraordinary life. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 3, 1977 to parents Dennis and Patricia (Vercellino) Marshbanks. He passed away on November 2, 2022 and is now in heaven. What a truly remarkable decision it was for Aaron to make with his 45 years of life. It is possible to compile a long list of Aaron’s achievements, including the many things that can be categorized as “successful,” but this was not the purpose of Aaron’s life. Instead, his “success” was based on his relationship with God and his love for other people.

Aaron’s favorite thing to do was to invest in the people around him, and he discovered that helping the people God put in his path gave his life a lot of meaning and purpose. It is impossible to count the number of times Aaron repeated the phrase “meaningful work, meaningful relationships” to anyone who spent even a small amount of time with him. In every meeting, his priority was to get to know the people he was with on a personal level and show that he cared about them more than the work that they were getting done. Every time I had a conversation with Aaron, the conversation would end with him asking, “What can I do to help you?”

Aaron had a profound respect for genuineness and a strong desire to connect on a profound level with other people. He was constantly on the lookout for untapped potential in others and made it a point to work diligently to uncover it. He served as a guide and a financial backer to an uncountable number of individuals. Unbelievably generous and quick to respond to a need, Aaron did so frequently without revealing his identity. He had a hearty, infectious laugh that was one of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed delicious food and drink, as well as the company of good friends while doing so. Aaron was never content and always pushing himself further. He had the intestinal fortitude to live his life to the fullest, making the most of his time, treasure, and talent.

Aaron’s love for his family was only surpassed by his devotion to the God who created him. When Aaron went home after his first date with the woman who would become the love of his life when he was 15 years old, he wrote the words “I will marry Jenn” on a sticky note and stuck it to the back of his mirror. After waiting another nine years, Aaron wed Jenn in the year 2000. Easton and Cade, Aaron’s two wonderful sons, were the source of tremendous pride for their father. He has spent their entire lives taking them on annual father-son trips, during which they have experienced a wide variety of life-changing activities. The experiences they had on those trips will remain some of the most memorable of their lives. Aaron was amazed at the maturation process they were going through. Aaron additionally had two precious daughters who had their father completely and utterly enthralled in their care. He cherished them so much, and they delighted in spending time with him by having “Daddy-dates,” watching “Shaun the Sheep” together, and giving each other extraordinary hugs.

Aaron cherished the time he got to spend away from home, especially with his family. The trip that the family took to Costa Rica for three months, during which they focused on spending quality time together and enjoying “Pura Vida,” is the memory that they cherish the most. It was remarkable in every way. Aaron would frequently boast that he had an incredible and eventful life.

Those who will miss Aaron are the love of his life, Jenn; his sons, Easton and Cade; precious daughters, Hope and Saige; his parents, who loved him so well and without condition; his sister, Amanda; his in-laws, David and Barbara Smith; his brother-in-law, Mark (Matt) Smith; his in-law sisters, Kim Smith and Tracey (KC) Rittscher; and Aaron was blessed by a large number of loving aunts, uncles,
